Job Description
Provide a positive representation of TrueValue - Port Allegany by being professional in appearance and actions. Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor by collaborating well with the customers as well as the associates. Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment. Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Proactively assist customers in solving problems and locating product. Possess a strong product knowledge, layout of the store and location of product. Thanking the customers when they have completed their shopping and are leaving the store. Knowing how to order product if it is not available in store and have delivered for the customer in a timely manner. Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking merchandise throughout the store. Provide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders. Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area. Participate in store meetings. Perform all duties assigned.
