Job Description
Customer Service Representative (CSR) Large & Small Animal DepartmentQuakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is seeking professional and compassionate Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our veterinary reception team in both our Large Animal and Small Animal departments.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and are committed to providing excellent customer service to clients and patients.
QVC is a 24/7 veterinary hospital focused on providing high-quality patient care and client service.
Weekend rotations, select holidays, and occasional on-call shifts may be required.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely mannerGreet clients and assist with check-in and check-out proceduresSchedule appointments and update patient/client recordsRespond to client questions and provide general informationProcess invoices and paymentsMonitor patient flow and communicate with hospital staff as neededPerform clerical duties including filing, email communication, and record maintenanceAssist with over-the-counter sales of diets and retail itemsMaintain a clean and organized reception areaQualificationsPrevious customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience requiredVeterinary or medical office experience preferred, but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and remain organized in a busy environmentProfessional demeanor and dependable attendanceBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to work collaboratively with team members and clientsPhysical RequirementsThis position requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, and the ability to use computers and phones for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities may include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
