Position Summary The Clerk, Accounts Receivable/Customer Service, supports both the Accounting and Customer Service functions with a focus on e-commerce transactions, payment processing, and account reconciliations. This role ensures accuracy in A/R activities, timely resolution of customer issues, and smooth order processing. The position requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support customer satisfaction and financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Process and post payments received for two e-commerce platforms. Reconcile returns and instant credits with invoices to ensure accuracy. Assist the Accounts Receivable team in researching and resolving disputes. Support month-end closing processes related to A/R and e-commerce reporting. Accounts Payable & Cost Allocation Enter AP vouchers into the ERP system for freight, duty, inland freight, and broker fees. Ensure accurate allocation of costs to product and inventory records. Customer Service Support Process returns for e-commerce platforms and apply credits to the appropriate customer accounts. Communicate with customers via email as assigned by the New York Customer Service Department. Manually authorize and process credit card payments for manual orders. Follow up on undeliverable e-commerce orders and coordinate product returns to the warehouse. General Support Maintain accurate and organized records of A/R transactions, returns, and customer correspondence. Partner with Accounting, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely resolution of customer and payment-related issues. Contribute to process improvements in A/R and customer support workflows. Experience Associate's degree 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or related administrative role. Experience in e-commerce, wholesale, or consumer goods, a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Business Central experience preferred).
