Job Description
Senior-level RF subject-matter expert responsible for resolving the highest-complexity issues, leading diagnostics and root-cause analysis, and interfacing with Engineering and customers on critical cases. Leads on-site escalations, sets best practices, and mentors Technicians II and III.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex RF/system-level failures across amplifiers and integrated systems. Define advanced test setups and validation approaches; interpret complex RF data (e.g., linearity, stability margins, efficiency, S-parameters). Serve as top escalation point for Technicians II and III; provide technical direction and review of corrective actions. Interface with Engineering to drive root-cause analysis, design feedback, and field-learned improvements. Lead critical on-site customer service events, ensuring safe work practices and clear communication with stakeholders. Approve return-to-service following complex repairs and performance verification. Author or review service procedures, knowledge-base articles, and technical bulletins. Support training and mentoring programs to raise team capability.Qualifications:
Extensive hands-on experience with RF power amplifiers and RF diagnostics in service/field environments. Expert proficiency with RF test equipment and complex measurement interpretation. Ability to read and critique schematics, block diagrams, and test methodologies; provide design-for-service feedback. Demonstrated leadership in troubleshooting, safety, and customer communication. Project or team leadership experience. Experience driving cross-functional corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Contributions to service documentation, training, or process improvement.
