About the job Who We Are Abner, Herrman & Brock Asset Management is a dynamic and growing investment management firm, managing $3 Billion in AUM. The firm is seeking a Client Service Associate, to join our entrepreneurial and collaborative team. This individual will play a multi-faceted role in supporting and contributing to client service, sales, and marketing. The candidate requires a bachelor's degree with strong communication and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a firm that values initiative, innovation, and an entrepreneurial culture. This is a hybrid position. The base salary range for this position: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00, depending on experience. Job Description The firm is seeking a Client Service Associate in our Jersey City, NJ office. The primary responsibilities include servicing our clients and Financial Consultants on a daily basis -- including but not limited to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and answering general non-investment related questions concerning client accounts. Responsibilities Coordinate the opening of new client accounts, as well as servicing client accounts. Provides administrative support including scanning, uploading documents, and data entry Answering inbound phone calls Calendar management and coordination of tasks and meetings Database management Client and Financial Consultant interaction Prepares account transactions, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs, etc. Perform special projects as assigned Skills/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing/Business required (applicable coursework will be considered) 1-2 years financial services experience preferred (not required) Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and friendly manner Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow with the firm Benefits 401k Employer-paid health insurance (dental and vision options) Paid time off Travel reimbursement program Lunch provided 2x per week Performance-based bonuses
