Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, managing day-to-day service needs while supporting policy administration, renewals, and new business efforts. This position offers eligibility for a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Service Respond to client requests including policy changes, certificates, billing inquiries, ID cards, and claims reporting Provide coverage guidance and maintain strong client relationships Deliver timely, professional customer service Account Management Review policies for accuracy and completeness Resolve discrepancies and maintain proper documentation Marketing & New Business Assist with submissions and quoting Work with carriers to obtain proposals Support proposal development Underwriting Support Evaluate exposures and recommend appropriate coverage Collaborate with carriers on underwriting decisions Billing & Processing Handle billing inquiries Process endorsements, renewals, and policy updates
Requirements:
Qualifications Required:
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License 2+ years of commercial or personal lines insurance experience Strong communication and customer service skills High attention to detail and organizational ability
Preferred:
CISR designation (or in progress) Experience with commercial lines coverage and underwriting
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Working knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset
Systems & Tools:
Agency management systems Carrier websites and rating platforms Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PDF tools
