Commercial Lines Manager Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent supports the service team by handling day-to-day client requests, processing policy changes, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of service tasks. This role focuses on operational excellence, responsiveness, and supporting Account Managers in delivering a high-quality client experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Respond to client service requests (COIs, policy changes, billing questions, etc.) Process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements Issue certificates of insurance accurately and on time Provide prompt, accurate responses to client inquiries Maintain accurate client and policy records in agency management system Enter and update policy data and documentation Support Account Managers and Producers with renewal preparation and data gathering Follow up with carriers on pending service items Process producer and client requests (changes, cancellations, binders, COIs) Route complex or coverage-related issues to Account Managers or Producers Manage assigned activities and service workflows Meet turnaround time and service standards Ensure accuracy and completeness of all servicing transactions Assist with claims reporting and basic client guidance Support overall team efficiency and service quality
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience in insurance preferred. Property & Casualty licensed required preferred Certified Insurance designations are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
Salary:
$40,000 - $50,000
