Contact Center Representative

Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Contact Center Representative to join their team. The primary responsibilities include handling patient and physician inquiries, confirming insurance details, verifying coverage and eligibility, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Manage inquiries from patients and physicians regarding scheduled appointments and procedures. Verify insurance, coverage, and eligibility details accurately. Document and update authorization requirements and demographic information in the EMR. Provide information about My Chart enrollment and other necessary details to ensure a positive patient experience. Qualifications 2 years of previous patient access, call center, or scheduling experience. Experience managing large volumes of inquiries or working in a health system setting. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Epic EMR and being bilingual in Spanish. Skills Proficiency in handling high volumes of calls in a fast-paced setting. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Technical skills in EMR systems, preferably Epic EMR. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Additional Requirements The position offers an opportunity to convert to a permanent role with a reputable organization. The role will transition to remote work after completion of the initial training. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
