About the Role We're seeking a Customer Service Agent who is genuinely excited to help people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through. In this role, you'll support members through phone, email, and chat, assist with account updates and renewals, and prepare insurance-related documentation. You'll be an important part of ensuring our members feel confident, supported, and well taken care of. This role requires either an active New Hampshire Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license or a willingness to obtain licensure within the first year of employment. What You'll Do Member Communication & Support Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and chats Provide clear, accurate guidance on membership details, coverage-related questions, and account needs Troubleshoot issues efficiently and escalate complex situations when needed Maintain a calm, professional, and supportive tone in all interactions Renewals & Retention Complete renewal reminder outreach Answer member questions during the renewal process and encourage timely renewals Insurance Documentation Create and process insurance documentation Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time Account Management & Quality Control Update and maintain member accounts with strong attention to detail Keep accurate records of member interactions and account changes Team Support Build working knowledge of policy wording requirements and coverage boundariesAssist with training new team members as needed What We're Looking For Required 2+ years customer service experience (phone, email, and chat) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Comfortable navigating software systems and learning new tools Patient, empathetic, and member-focused mindset Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Active NH Property & Casualty insurance license OR willingness to obtain licensure prior to first anniversary date Preferred Experience in insurance or membership-based organizations Familiarity with CRM systems Confidence explaining policy-related information clearly and accurately Why You'll Like Working Here Supportive, friendly, and collaborative team Clear expectations and well-defined processes Meaningful work helping small business owners feel protected and supported Opportunities to build insurance and professional service expertise Compensation $20-$22/hr if not NH P&C licensed (increase when licensed within 1 year) $24-$26/hr if NH P&C licensed Schedule & Benefits Full-time, 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm Paid sick and vacation time IRA contributions Profit-sharing Hybrid work environment (office and remote balance) Company paid lunches while in the Henniker office.
