12+ months Contract - Possible extension/conversion
Pay Rate:
$18-$20/hr We are seeking a Customer Care Representative to support customers by handling inbound calls, resolving billing inquiries, processing payment arrangements, updating account information, and providing exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities:
Respond professionally to inbound customer calls Assist customers with billing questions, payments, service requests, and account updates Handle sensitive customer situations including overdue balances and termination notices Negotiate payment arrangements within company guidelines De-escalate difficult customer interactions professionally Document customer interactions accurately in internal systems Utilize customer information systems and Microsoft Office applications Meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals Complete administrative tasks and follow-up activities as required Work collaboratively with internal teams while managing tasks independently
Required Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Previous customer service or call center experience Experience handling difficult customer interactions Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexible to work varying shifts, nights, weekends, and emergency schedules Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of customer service experience Billing, collections, or account management experience Utility or energy industry experience Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Training Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Work Arrangement:
