Job Description
Order Management Associate (Intermediate Level) Position Overview We are seeking a driven and customer‑focused Order Management Associate who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills, and consistently delivers accurate, timely order processing. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless, high‑quality order management experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, manufacturing‑focused environment and enjoys collaborating across multiple internal teams to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and validate customer orders within an ERP system Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and compliance with business rules Resolve order discrepancies, exceptions, and pricing issues Process all orders within a 48‑hour turnaround time Monitor and manage order updates, revisions, cancellations, and credits Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, confirmations, and supporting documentation Respond to inbound customer calls and emails related to orders, products, and services Manage customer requests involving returns, exchanges, and order modifications Support a dealer network (no direct interaction with end consumers) Collaborate closely with production, planning, shipping, logistics, sales, and finance teams Complete a structured 45-60 day training program prior to handling phone queue responsibilities Day‑to‑Day Work Environment Hands‑on use of ERP systems to manage order workflows Frequent collaboration with manufacturing and operations teams Inbound call handling through a queue‑based system following training Fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy and service quality Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in order management and customer service Proficiency with ERP systems for order entry (SAP, Oracle, Syteline, or similar) Experience in a manufacturing environment , with exposure to shipping, production, or planning Strong understanding of end‑to‑end order processing workflows High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience in supply chain, retail, or manufacturing operations Core Skills & Competencies Order management and order entry Customer service and customer support ERP system navigation Manufacturing industry experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective time management and prioritization Soft Skills for Success Positive attitude and team‑first mindset Clear verbal and written communication skills Patience, empathy, and professionalism in customer interactions Strong problem‑solving ability and resourcefulness High sense of ownership and accountability What We're Looking For A proactive, dependable professional who takes initiative Someone who thrives in structured, process‑driven environments A confident communicator who manages customer expectations effectively A detail‑oriented performer who consistently delivers high‑quality work Experience Level Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
