Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Customer Service & Order Entry professional to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment, ensuring accurate order entry, pricing, shipping coordination, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Coordinate shipping details and logistics to meet customer requirements. Provide product information, pricing, and freight quotes to customers. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Work closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and other internal teams to support customer needs. Review order specifications and documentation to ensure accurate processing. Maintain customer records and order information within Salesforce. Review month end order reports with accounting team. Follow up on customer inquiries and proactively communicate order status updates. Qualifications Previous customer service experience required; manufacturing, industrial, or distribution experience preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency with ERP, CRM, or order management systems preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
