Customer Service Representative

Professional Communications Messaging Center, Inc. is a national, full service answering service based in Erie, PA with a satellite location in Seneca, PA. We are looking for someone to fill a temporary, part time summer position in the Seneca office. This is a 2nd shift position to cover for a maternity leave and summer vacations. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 4PM-7PM and every other Saturday and Sunday from 11Am-4PM. Your duties would include answering calls, inputting data into our system and multi tasking while using decision making skills. The individual we hire will need to be able to work well independently and as part of a team since this is could be a work from home position. This is not a sales position. Our responsibility is to answer inbound calls, take messages, and deliver them to our clients. Since we are a 24-hour answering service, we are looking for someone who is flexible (must work weekends and holidays) and can pass a criminal background check. Starting wage is $13.00 per hour plus a biweekly bonus of $1.00 per hour for perfect attendance. We are looking for someone who: 1. Can type 35+ words per minute 2. Has experience answering multiple phone lines 3. Has good spelling skills and attention to detail 4. Has a positive attitude with a nice phone voice 5. Has excellent customer service skills 6.
