Job Description

We are looking for a part time or full time Customer Service Representative to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include assisting in daily office needs, answering and returning calls, managing accounts, and other tasks. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include communicating with customers, preparing reports and completing tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using electronic applications and open to learning new software programs. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office. Possess the ability to exercise critical thinking, problem solving and judgment. Candidate must be able to take initiative, work well independently and be able to work with a variety of people. Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times, both in and out of the workplace. You will be expected to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested. Insurance licensing a plus, or a willingness to obtain your insurance license within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities Answer and direct phone calls Organize and schedule appointments Write and distribute email, correspondence, letters, and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Provide general support to visitors and clients Act as the point of contact for clients Take payments from customers and deposit via remote deposit system File and maintain customer files; This information is personal and confidential Manage policy updates, billing questions and quotes Assist with policy management and claims reporting Skills Proven experience in customer service Knowledge of office systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree; additional qualifications are a plus. Insurance experience is preferred.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
