Beck Veterinary Services is a mobile exotics veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for exotic pets. We pride ourselves on personalized service and strong client communication, supporting pet owners and their unique companions.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Receptionist / Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. This is a primarily remote position with occasional in-office responsibilities in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone calls, text messages, emails, and online messaging platforms Manage and coordinate incoming appointment requests and general inquiries Maintain clear, friendly, and informative communication with clients regarding services and scheduling Monitor and manage social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram), including: Creating and posting engaging content Responding to messages and comments in a timely manner Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or reception experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using email, messaging platforms, and social media Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive Interest in or experience with animals—especially exotic pets—is a preferred

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time:

Approximately 10-15 hours per week Position will require hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with possible additional hours on Fridays and Saturdays Flexible scheduling, with availability required for timely client communication $18 per hour
