Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty Insurance License required A professional insurance agency is seeking an experienced Insurance Service Representative to join a small, collaborative team. This role supports both existing and prospective clients with personal insurance needs, including quoting, endorsements, new business applications, policy reviews, remarkets, and ongoing client service. This is a great opportunity for someone with agency experience who enjoys working directly with clients, providing strong service, and helping identify appropriate insurance solutions. The team is looking for someone who is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Work directly with existing and prospective clients to support their insurance needs. Provide quoting and process endorsements and new business applications. Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and faxes in a timely and professional manner. Review policies with insureds by phone and in person. Conduct policy reviews and identify gaps, concerns, or potential coverage improvements. Support account rounding and identify opportunities to offer additional policies when appropriate. Complete quotes and endorsements within a 24-to-48-hour turnaround time. Review and process remarkets at least 30 days in advance, including pulling and documenting any required reports. Complete new business applications, registry paperwork, and billing-related tasks as needed. Provide backup support to senior team members and leadership. Contribute to strong client/member satisfaction through excellent service, follow-up, and responsiveness. Meet sales goals and service expectations set by management. Stay current on job-related systems, procedures, continuing education, and industry information. Follow all applicable policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and regulations. Participate in special projects and community-related activities as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty Insurance License required. High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of experience in an insurance agency environment preferred. Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance, endorsements, remarkets, and new business processing. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work with clients both over the phone and in person. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Comfortable working in a small team environment. Professional, dependable, and service-oriented.
Pay:
$28.00•$30.00 per hour
