Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Insurance Customer Service Agent Independent Insurance Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the position of Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). This person will provide customer support to existing clients for a personal lines book of business. Because relationships are everything in this industry, we emphasize developing a good rapport with our clients to provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Quoting and Consultation:

Quote insurance policies with multiple companies to find the best coverage options for clients. Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized coverage recommendations. Educate clients about insurance products and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Policy Processing:

Process insurance policies and policy changes accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and policy transactions. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain follow-up and suspense files on outstanding orders and correspondence. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.

Requirements:

Active Virginia Property and Casualty (P&C) license is a must. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry. Experience with AMS360 or similar insurance management software is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
