Remote Benefit Customer Service Representatives A-Line Staffing is seeking motivated, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Benefit Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you'll help members navigate healthcare and pension benefits while delivering exceptional service and support. Pittsburgh, PA $18.00/hour Position Details Remote position (must reside within required commuting distance) Contract-to-hire opportunity Initial 6-month contract assignment Monday through Friday schedule No weekends required What You'll Do Guide members through healthcare and pension benefit enrollment and plan updates. Provide personalized support through phone, email, and webchat. Explain complex benefit information in a clear, easy-to-understand manner. Assist members with eligibility, enrollment, and benefit-related questions. Research and resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism. Interpret plan documents and communicate information accurately. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and data privacy standards. Collaborate with teammates and leadership to provide excellent service. Key Responsibilities Provide superior customer service through phone, chat, and email interactions. Utilize internal systems and resources to resolve member inquiries. Accurately document customer interactions. Maintain quality and service standards. Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of diverse member populations. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Schedule & Flexibility Peak Season Full-time schedule (40 hours per week) Overtime opportunities may be available Off-Peak Season Hours may vary between 32-40 hours per week based on business needs Shift Availability Requirements Candidates must be flexible to work within the following operating hours:

Extended hours generally occur only during annual enrollment blackout periods and select peak-volume weeks throughout the year. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Customer service, call center, retail, hospitality, administrative, or related experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems Ability to work independently in a remote environment Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Location Requirements Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside within the following distances of their designated office location: Pittsburgh, PA - Within 2 hours Candidates must attend a one-day onsite orientation for equipment pickup and brief training. Occasional onsite meetings or special projects may also be required.
