This job could be work-from-home after training. We need someone who can train locally and if they transition to work-from-home can occasionally come in for meetings.) We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of working independently. We have a great team that compares notes, but our people are expected to be able to work without too much oversight and certainly no micro-management. We are an independent agency, so past experience with our carriers, is a huge bonus. We represent Grange, Erie, Auto-Owners, Westfield, Cincinnati, Progressive, Encova, Acuity, Safeco, and more. You will be responsible for helping customers with their existing insurance policies with the agency and letting them know about coverage enhancements and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Take inbound calls and emails relating to client policies Maintain friendly, professional relationships with clients and co-workers. Being a great teammate is an absolute must! Resolve client inquiries and complaints with calm, patient, professionalism Expand business reach through policy knowledge and education Comply with insurance agency standards and regulations Track and identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:

Property and Casualty Insurance License Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with clients. Our best employees end up building relationships with our clients. Strong negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar (We will qualify this via interview and written communication via email.) Ability to prioritize and multitask Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel Experience using an insurance Agency Management System (Partner XE is a plus) Background / Training / Skills / Experience Consulting Organizing tasks Physical / Environmental Demands Office building, air-conditioned, multi-use environment
