Job Description

Looking for experienced, energetic & reliable candidates. Nights, weekends & holidays must be in your availability as we are open year-round! Cash handling experience is a must. Tips certification can be acquired here. Stocking, lifting & cleaning required. 18+ is preferred for this position. Only apply if serious please!! Summary As a Cashier/Customer Service representative, you will be at the forefront of providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions for our valued customers. With core skills in cash handling, retail sales, and customer service, you will be responsible for operating the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. Your experience in a grocery store setting will be invaluable in understanding the unique needs of our customers.   • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, purchases, and returns.
  • Operate cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in alignment with grocery store standards.
  • Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math for pricing accuracy.
  • Uphold a high level of professionalism and uphold TIPS guidelines for responsible alcohol sales.
Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interaction with customers Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers Basic math skills for accurate transactions and retail math applications Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store environment Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace Familiarity with stocking and merchandising practices Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
