Customer Service Agent Warwick, RI 02888 $22 an hour - Temporary, Full-time $22 an hour - Temporary, Full-time Customer Service Agent Warwick, RI $22.00/hour Open-Ended Temporary Assignment Full-Time | Onsite Premier Staffing Source, Inc. is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to support consumer services operations for a Rhode Island state agency in Warwick. This role involves responding to consumer inquiries related to utility services, resolving complaints, and assisting customers with payment agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced customer service or call center environment. Key Responsibilities Respond to consumer inquiries regarding utility services and billing issues Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer service via phone, email, and written correspondence Prepare and negotiate consumer payment agreements Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to utility services Explain rates, policies, and consumer rights regarding regulated utilities Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and case information Conduct follow-up communications to ensure resolution of customer concerns Assist with scheduling and organizing hearings or customer service meetings Prepare reports, documentation, and case summaries as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in an office or call center environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and courteously Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines Strong organizational and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a state or government office setting Experience handling complaints, billing inquiries, or service-related issues Familiarity with utilities, consumer protection, or regulatory environments Work Environment Onsite position in Warwick, Rhode Island Fast-paced customer service and public interaction environment Work performed under established policies and procedures Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (eligibility after 60 days) Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) Plan Competitive Pay About Premier Staffing Source, Inc.
