Job Description

We are hiring customer service/cashiers at the Misquamicut Sandwich Company (MSC). Would you like to work in a family owned and operated business in customer service? If so come down at apply - Tuesday through Sunday from 8 to 3. We are located at 57 Shore Road in Westerly. MSC customer service cashiers are paid well and once through training are in the tip pool! Experience is not necessary- we will train you! As the face of our sandwich shop, the Customer Service Cashier team member ensures every guest receives a warm welcome and fast, accurate service. You will handle cash transactions, maintain a spotless dining area, and assemble orders with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet guests enthusiastically, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations. Point of Sale (POS): Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
Order Assembly:
Package dine-in and takeout orders correctly, including condiments and utensils.
FOH Maintenance:
Keep the dining area, condiment stations, and restrooms clean and fully stocked.
Stocking:
Restock grab-and-go coolers, chip racks, and beverage stations throughout your shift.
Qualifications & Skills:
Friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented personality Basic math skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
