Parts and Customer Service Associate Longshore Boats - 4.2 Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Relocation assistance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork Customer service Attention to detail Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Customer Service & Parts Assistant — Full-Time | Longshore Boats Longshore Boats has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years — and we're still growing because of the people on our team. We don't just sell boats. We create an experience where customers feel they got more than they paid for and can't wait to tell their friends. That only happens when the right people are in the right seats. We're looking for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from making things easier for others, keeps their word, and takes real pride in seeing things through. If "done" is your favorite word and you light up when a customer says "thank you," you may be exactly who we're looking for. What You'll Do This role is the steady, reliable heartbeat of our front-of-house and parts operation. People will count on you — and you'll deliver. Welcome every customer immediately with warmth, eye contact, and a genuine smile Answer and route calls, emails, and texts efficiently and professionally Build lasting customer relationships that keep people coming back and talking about us Help customers find and purchase the parts and accessories they need Process parts sales, receiving, notifications, and distribution with accuracy Keep the retail display looking sharp and inviting Communicate inventory needs that would improve customer experience and drive revenue Order office and operational supplies as needed What We're Looking For A track record in customer service — you've been the person others rely on High attention to detail and procedural accuracy — you catch what others miss Comfort with multitasking and managing several things at once without dropping the ball A collaborative spirit — you make the team better, not just yourself Genuine enthusiasm for delivering a "wow" experience, every single time Boating knowledge or mechanical aptitude is a plus, not a requirement Competency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer tasks Who Thrives Here We've found that the people who love this role are the ones who don't need the spotlight — they'd rather make sure the customer is taken care of and the job is finished right. You're someone who follows through, keeps commitments, and finds real meaning in being the reason someone had a great day. What You'll Get $20-$22/hour with overtime opportunity Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance — affordable coverage for full-time employees after 90 days Paid vacation — 1 week after year one, 2 weeks after year two 5 paid holidays to spend with the people who matter Paid training and outside certification programs — we invest in your growth Employee discounts on boats, service, parts, accessories, and merchandise Company events —oyster roasts, boat-outing days, ping pong corn hole and more A culture where you're treated well — friendly, diverse, and built on mutual respect And yes — cornhole and ping-pong skills may come in handy at our company tournaments. The occasional workday on the water doesn't hurt either. Ready to Be the Person We Count On? If this sounds like the kind of work that energizes you, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.
