Job Description

Customer Service Associate 5806 Calhoun Memorial Highway, Easley, SC 29640 $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Tropical Grille Easley is seeking a Customer Service Specialist (CSS) for our Front of House. The CSS is expected to provide outstanding fast and friendly service to our guests while ensuring the highest level of order accuracy and food quality, and setting an example for other FOH team members to follow. The candidate must be a person with a passion for interacting with people, and giving the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate would have full time evening availability (3p-10:30p), but adjustments to hours and days could be made. Pay for the position is hourly and employees also receive a tip share in addition to hourly rate. Responsibilities Responsible for all regular cashier, drive thru, and expo job duties, including greeting customers and providing excellent customer service, taking and bagging orders accurately, handling cash and card transactions, and performing all stocking, cleaning, opening, and/or closing duties as assigned. Responsible for handling guest issues in a positive manner, providing resolution that is acceptable to both the guest and the company, and encourages the guest to return to our establishments. In addition, the CSS will be responsible for setting the high-performance bar that other FOH employees will strive to meet. They will maintain a positive and friendly attitude amongst their teammates that helps direct the energy of the shift, as well as provide an outstanding guest experience in a welcoming environment, that exceeds guest's expectations of the service they would receive in a quick service environment. They will make engaging with the guest one of their top priorities- greeting every guest as they come in, making brief conversation with guests, getting to know regulars, and putting guest needs above secondary duties, conversations, etc. The CSS should be an employee that guests are happy to see when they come in and improves the guest's visit by being there. They will have a thorough knowledge of the menu, and be an add-on and suggestive selling expert, making recommendations that could enhance the guest's experience as well as add to the guest ticket. They will maintain the highest level of attention to detail, checking orders thoroughly to ensure they are accurate and packaged correctly, and marking tickets according to company policies. Environment Set up and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the guests, including a clean dining room, clean bathrooms, and a clean and organized front cash and/or drive thru area. Everything "guest-facing" or that directly affects the guests will fall under the CSS prevue and be a top priority. Policy Adherence CSS position is responsible for adherence to all guidelines and procedures set forth by Tropical Grille, including but not limited to: Adherence to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules and regulations Adherence to Tropical Grille Recipes Communicating with management if help is needed Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO Any additional tasks assigned or asked by them of management
