Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities that enhance the customer experience Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves to ensure an inviting shopping environment Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash register balancing and basic math calculations Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone, ensuring clear and professional communication Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and participating in store merchandising initiatives Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Strong communication skills essential for engaging with customers and team members effectively Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
