We specialize in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products as both a job shop and small-run contract manufacturer. Our work ranges from individual components to complete automated assemblies. We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Representative who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and communication. This role is critical to ensuring smooth customer interactions, accurate order entry, and efficient internal coordination. This is not an entry-level role. Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, or order entry is required. What You'll Do Customer Order Entry & Data Management Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently into the system Verify order details, specifications, and required information prior to submission Maintain and update customer records and data in internal systems Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and easily accessible Monitor order status and follow up on missing or incomplete information Customer Service & Communication Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Provide clear, professional, and timely communication to customers Respond to customer questions and provide order updates as needed Follow up with customers to ensure resolution of inquiries or issues Maintain a positive and professional customer experience in all interactions Administrative Support & Organization Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic Scan, copy, and distribute documents as needed Assist with general administrative tasks to support office operations Ensure documentation is properly stored, labeled, and retrievable Support compliance with company documentation and recordkeeping standards Team Collaboration & Support Communicate with internal departments to support order processing and workflow Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure order accuracy Share updates and information to support smooth daily operations Support team members during high-volume periods or deadlines Assist with additional duties as assigned to support business needs Data Accuracy & Process Support Review data for accuracy and completeness before entry or submission Identify and correct errors in customer or order information Follow established processes and workflows for order handling and documentation Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or errors in processes
What We're Looking For Required:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, administrative, or order entry role Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and multitasking Experience handling customer communication via phone and/or email in a professional setting Experience with data entry, documentation, or recordkeeping requiring high attention to detail Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation Professional and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and time management Must be a U.
