Service Advisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, ensuring customers understand their options. Prepare detailed auto estimates for repairs, including parts, labor, and additional charges. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and other automotive repairs to maximize customer value. Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of auto service management and customer relations. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignment, auto body repair, and automotive repair procedures. Experience in auto estimating software and service writing to generate accurate invoices. Ability to upsell effectively by identifying customer needs for additional services or vehicle upgrades. Mechanical knowledge combined with service technician experience enhances your ability to communicate technical information clearly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor. Familiarity with auto sales processes and automobile sales techniques is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and documentation.
