Full-time Position Overview:
This role combines customer service, account management, and light sales support for both personal lines and small commercial accounts. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable helping clients both in person and over the phone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the insurance industry while earning a competitive base salary plus commission opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Assist walk-in and phone clients with policy questions and service requests Quote and bind personal lines policies including: Homeowners Auto Flood Umbrella Recreational vehicles Assist with light commercial insurance accounts Process endorsements, payments, renewals, and policy changes Follow up with prospects and renewal opportunities Review coverage options with clients and explain policies clearly Help maintain agency organization and customer relationships Work with multiple insurance carriers and agency management systems
Qualifications:
Active South Carolina Property & Casualty License preferred (or willingness to obtain quickly) Insurance experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers, email, and agency software Organized with attention to detail Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
