In this vital role, you will coordinate the dispatching of tow trucks, manage communication between drivers, customers, and service providers, and ensure efficient operations within our transportation management system. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver prompt, reliable service while maintaining smooth office workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our logistics operations, supporting fleet management and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Dispatch tow trucks efficiently using GPS and transportation management systems to respond promptly to roadside assistance requests. Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics providers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring accurate information exchange. Monitor real-time GPS tracking data to optimize routing and resource allocation for freight and towing operations. Enter data accurately i Coordinate with shipping & receiving teams for timely pickup and delivery of vehicles or freight, ensuring compliance with logistics protocols. Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, incident reports, and service records for operational transparency. Provide exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally while managing high call volumes on multi-line phone systems. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within transportation management or logistics environments. Strong analysis skills to interpret GPS data, GIS mapping, and transportation planning tools for optimal decision-making. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly over phone calls and written reports. Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy using systems Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently using multi-line phone systems while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Basic typing skills combined with a good understanding of logistics software including GPS, GIS, transportation planning tools, and supply chain concepts.
