Service Solutions Specialist At our locally owned Valvoline shops, we don't just hire for today- we build for what's next. The Service Solutions Specialist role is designed for people who want to understand the full operation and grow into leadership. Who We Are Looking For The Service Solutions Specialist is a cross-functional role that supports both customer experience and technical execution while developing leadership capability. This role moves between upper bay and lower bay, learning all aspects of the operation and contributing wherever needed. You'll be expected to take ownership, learn quickly, and begin thinking beyond the task in front of you. Who We're Looking For You'll thrive in this role if you: Are comfortable working with both customers and hands-on tasks Want to understand how the entire operation runs Take initiative instead of waiting for direction Adapt quickly and handle shifting priorities Have the potential and desire to grow into leadership What You'll Be Responsible For Guide customers through the service process and build trust Perform services across both upper bay and lower bay Support team operations wherever needed Learn vehicle systems, services, and preventative maintenance Assist in training and supporting newer team members Maintain shop standards for safety, quality, and efficiency Begin developing leadership skills through ownership and accountability What You Bring Strong communication and adaptability Willingness to learn both technical and customer-facing skills Ownership mindset and follow-through Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment Reliability and consistency Experience & Requirements Previous management experience is helpful but not required Interest in leadership development strongly preferred Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends Full-time, up to 40 hours per week Must be located near the job site - in person role
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
