We are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our dynamic team at Lewis and Clark Ford, a reputable car dealership located in Yankton, SD. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient service operations.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to the dealership's service department. Listen to customer concerns, evaluate their needs, and provide accurate and timely advice regarding vehicle service and maintenance options. Schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of service bays and technician resources. Prepare repair orders and provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs, including cost estimates and anticipated completion times. Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs or maintenance services. Uphold high standards of customer service by effectively resolving any issues or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles, providing updates on repair timelines and any changes to service orders. Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of required parts and accessories for service and repair jobs. Utilize computer systems and software applications to document customer interactions, service orders, and repair history accurately.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications for record-keeping and customer communication. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
