Higginbotham Bros & Co is hiring a General-Customer Service Representative to deliver excellent customer service, operate the cash register, assist with stocking, and perform light lifting. Starting pay is ($12)/hour. Hours are Monday-Friday (7:30 am-6:00 pm) and Saturday (8:00 am-4:00 pm). Interested applicants must apply in person. Job Summary As a General-Customer Service Representative at Higginbotham Bros & Co, you will be the face of our retail store. You will assist customers with locating merchandise, process sales accurately at the register, maintain store inventory, and ensure our sales floor is fully stocked and organized. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Greet customers enthusiastically, answer inquiries, and provide helpful, professional solutions.
Cashier Operations:
Process cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately using the POS register.
Stocking & Merchandising:
Unpack and stock inventory on shelves, face products, and maintain clean, organized, and inviting store displays.
Physical Requirements:
Safely perform light lifting and moving of merchandise as required.
Store Upkeep:
Help maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the checkout area, aisles, and windows. Qualifications Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is a plus. Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical lifting. Reliable, punctual, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Compensation & Schedule
Starting Pay:
($12.00) per hour
Hours of Operation:
Monday•
Friday:
7:30 am•6:00 pm
Saturday:
8:00 am•4:00 pm
