Our expanding Service Department is looking for an experienced, customer oriented, Service Advisor to join our team. Prior Service Advisor experience is preferred. Initiates automotive services and repairs by determining performance problems and services requested. Listens to customer's description of issues; clarifies concerns; conducts inspections; checks vehicle maintenance records; and examines service schedules. Prepares and creates repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, concerns, and causes, as well as repairs and services required; obtains approval signatures; collect and update customer records. Verifies warranty and service contract coverage and explains provisions and exclusions. Develops estimates by costing parts, labor, and supplies; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles. Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation. Maintains established departmental CSI goals. Service Advisor Job Requirements Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Recent Service Advisor experience preferred. Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast paced environment Self-motivated, positive-minded, and enthusiastic individual capable of thriving in team environment Excellent computer and tablet technology utilization

Other Qualifications:

High school diploma minimum. 2+ years experience as Service Advisor.
