The Call Center Representative is often the first voice our patients hear, and we take that seriously. About the
Role:
As a Call Center Representative, you are the connection between our patients and our clinical team. You'll manage high-volume patient communication, keep our schedule running smoothly, and ensure every patient interaction reflects the warmth and professionalism our practice is known for. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.
What You'll Do:
Patient Communication Answer incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails promptly and professionally Scheduling & Appointments Confirm upcoming appointments via phone, text, and email Manage patient recalls and proactively reach out to schedule overdue visits Prepare patient paperwork and charts for the following day's schedule Insurance & Administrative Verify and check patient insurance eligibility prior to appointments Send and receive medical reports and records from referring providers and specialists Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in the practice management system Support the clinical team with administrative tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly Greet every patient interaction with warmth, clarity, and a solutions-first mindset Address patient questions, concerns, and requests and route appropriately
What We're Looking For:
A desire to learn and work with a team and we will provide training. Prior experience in a medical, dental, or eye care office setting preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills across phone, text, and email Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a busy environment Comfortable verifying insurance eligibility and navigating insurance portals Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn practice management software Professional, friendly, and patient-first attitude in every interaction A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Bilingual a plus
