Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Client Services Specialist to join our Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting sales activities in the clinical laboratory services industry.
Job Duties:
  • Collaborates closely with clients and sales reps to build strong and long-lasting relationships
  • Plays a pivotal role linking accessioning team/analysis/billing
  • Follows standard operating procedures
  • Produce various reports as requested by upper management
  • Communicate sample and laboratory issues with client and sales rep
  • Facilitate client/rep communication for laboratory closures (holidays)
  • Create and coordinate training for accounts and manage users for the online results portal
  • Review/approve supply orders for clients based on samples received
  • Interfacing with internal and external customers via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Explain basic toxicology, blood, and molecular concepts
  • Answering general questions pertaining to patient test results
  • Understanding of the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical workflows and processes within the laboratory
  • Ensuring patient test results are released within expected turn-around time
  • Troubleshooting and conducting investigation of issues related to customer experience
  • Facilitating customer supply orders and logistical requests
  • Coordinating shipping labels and or pickups via UPS, FedEx, and courier services for clients, reps, or internal teams
  • Creating packing slips for Shipping and Logistics to process orders in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for communicating with reps and clients the completion of orders with tracking number attached Requirements
  • Strong sales and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience in clinical laboratory client services
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Quick books
  • Ability to manage accounts effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
