This is a people-first, field-based role where your work directly helps individuals move from instability toward security and support. What You'll Do As a Shelter Expert, you will represent MHSG inside partner homeless shelters by: Conducting client pre-screenings Assisting with Social Security disability paperwork Helping determine whether claims meet SSA guidelines Maintaining accurate client documentation Supporting follow-ups and questionnaires Handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy Helping de-escalate difficult situations calmly and respectfully What This Job Is Really Like This work is rewarding—but not easy.
