Customer Solution Champion The Opportunity Summary:
The Customer Solution Champion will work with sales representatives, branch managers, customers, and suppliers to define new business opportunities, support Sales Managers with the generation of business proposals, and compile data relating to the market for packaging solutions. Prepare, enter, and monitor progress of customer orders for strategic accounts. The Customer Solution Champion will work onsite at the location in Fort Worth, TX.
Pay:
$32.69 - $36.06/hr (dependent on experience) How you will impact
Smurfit Westrock:
Lead the RFQ process for strategic customers: spec material, collect customer information, maintain quote log and follow through with communication between purchasing and sales until point of sale. Serves as primary contact for Strategic Customers and Sales Staff for specific customers and/or project information. Provides prompt communication with the customer, sales and internal functions regarding existing challenges to meet order expectations. Support the acquisition of new business opportunities by analyzing data related to customer specifications, pricing and production capacity. Coordinate roll out of new product Closely monitor sales/profitability/service levels for strategic accounts to ensure expectations are being consistently met and escalating issues as needed. Gathers input, evaluates, and makes recommendations from a technical standpoint concerning cost, production schedule, etc. based on customer needs. Identify cost saving opportunities for accounts to improve profitability. Initiates, tracks, organizes, prioritizes, and monitors multiple projects through development, production, and fulfillment. Provide relevant timelines to ensure on-time delivery. Compares in-coming work specifications with specifications used for estimate. Recognizes changes in job specifications requiring re-estimation. Prepare quotation requests for estimators and presents appropriate quotes for customers both internal and external as required. Reviews costing and invoicing to ensure agreement with signed quotes. Assist with product and account training for new team members What you need to succeed: Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Bachelor's Degree is desired. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the packaging or distribution industry is required. Comprehensive experience with project management and meeting specific deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and understand problems and select appropriate resolutions. Confident interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills with various organizational levels. Fluency in English required, verbal and written; bilingual skills preferred. Proficient data entry skills and above average knowledge of MS Office products. Available to work on the last day of each month to process closing of month end. Able to conduct 10% travel (local and overnight)
