Job Description
About the Position This is an exciting opportunity for a dependable, experienced Customer Support Representative to join our team in our Utility Supply & Services division. This position can be work in-office at any of our main locations: Georgetown, Greenville, or Decatur, TX. The hours for this position will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. What are the key responsibilities? Develops and maintains a functional knowledge of Company products and services. Ensure data integrity by maintaining an accurate account of customer interactions in a timely manner. Direct interaction and first point of contact with customers. Address customer needs and process Quotes and Orders promptly. Expedite all Distribution open Sales Orders. Keep updated client information. Build relationships with customers and meet their needs in a timely manner. Practice courtesy in all dealings with co-workers and manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a business-related field preferred. 3+ years' industrial inside sales/customer service experience managing external client accounts required OR safety equipment or services purchasing experience within the industrial safety or environmental industry. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Inside Sales/Customer Service experience required. Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheets. Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Physical Requirements:
Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; working on computer, tablet, or phone screens. Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery by use of hands/fingers. Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken and written word. Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, as necessary. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull as necessary to move product.
