This role is responsible for verifying patient dental insurance benefits, reviewing coverage details, and updating insurance information in our system to support accurate billing and treatment planning. This is an entry-level opportunity, and we will provide training. It's a great position for someone looking to start a career in dental insurance, dental billing, or healthcare office support. Key Responsibilities Verify patient dental insurance benefits by phone and through insurance web portals Review and document coverage percentages, limitations, and frequency guidelines for common dental procedures Enter and maintain accurate insurance coverage tables in Dentrix Enterprise Perform claim status checks on pending insurance claims Document insurance information accurately for billing and treatment coordination Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and team members Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with insurance companies Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Experience No dental experience required - training provided Experience in customer service, medical/dental offices, insurance verification, or administrative roles is a plus but not required
