Job Description:
Customer Support Specialist Position Summary Join our client's team as a Customer Support Specialist responsible for managing customer orders from purchase order receipt through delivery. This role serves as the primary customer contact and works closely with sales, production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure accurate order processing and exceptional customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred. 1+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales support, or related experience. Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts. Receive, review, and enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system. Communicate order status, production updates, and delivery schedules to customers. Coordinate with production, quality, shipping, and sales teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment. Document and assist with the resolution of customer concerns related to orders, shipping, quality, and billing. Support outside sales with account information, order tracking, and customer requests. Maintain accurate customer and order records. Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
