Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while handling transactions. Provide information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist in retail sales by promoting products and upselling when appropriate. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor to ensure product availability. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management tasks. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Conduct stock management duties, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves. Apply retail math principles to assist in inventory control and sales reporting. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in cash register operation and basic math skills is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus but can be learned on the job. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
