What to Expect in the

Role:

Provide introductory information to new customers. Ensure that customers are satisfied with products or services. Follow up with clients or customers to check that they're still satisfied with any purchases. Let customers or clients know about additional products or services. Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client's or customer's questions. Escalate queries and concerns to appropriate area. Troubleshoot common issues with a product or service. Work with operations and other departments to find appropriate solutions. Answer and direct all telephone calls in a timely manner. Assist customers in a professional manner. Be knowledgeable of all past and present products. Enter credit memos sent from receiving into the computer. Contact web customers when items are on backorder. Contact customers when there is a delay in shipping merchandise. Be prepared to work varied schedules according to production schedule.

Ability to share work among a customer service team. Attentiveness and patience. Time-management skills Ability to find the positive in any situation. Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Email, cash register, and basic office equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior customer service and/or retail experience is preferred.
