Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and provide clear explanations of recommended services. Schedule appointments efficiently, manage customer flow, and prioritize repairs based on urgency and availability. Use automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to identify issues such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, suspension, alignments, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs. Prepare detailed auto estimates and service writing documentation for technicians and customers. Upsell additional services or maintenance options that enhance vehicle performance and safety while respecting customer needs. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of all service-related activities. Collaborate closely with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and excellent customer satisfaction. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension work, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignments. Demonstrated ability in auto estimating, service writing, and auto body repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and active listening abilities. Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services or accessories. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate records. Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is highly desirable to better understand technical aspects of vehicle repairs.
