Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gas Station Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide friendly service, handle transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Operate cash registers and process cash, credit, and debit transactions Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate products as needed Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, and forecourt area Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers when necessary Verify age for alcohol and tobacco sales in compliance with regulations Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries professionally Follow safety, security, and company procedures Report equipment issues, shortages, or suspicious activity to management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail or customer service experience a plus Basic math and computer skills Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items

Work Environment:

Fast-paced retail setting Standing for extended periods Exposure to outdoor conditions while assisting at fuel pumps
