Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. Serve as the customer service / inside sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies. The effective and efficient processing of all customer order transactions and customer order inquires with minimal direct supervision. This will be accomplished by utilizing the company distribution software (P21) and the manufacturing software (M2M) along with various other software tools under the guidelines of company policies and procedures. Direct and frequent interaction with the Field Sales Representative responsible for the accounts, including joint customer visits and contract pricing and inventory management. Responsibilities
- Process customer orders
- Send order confirmations
- Process customer quotes
- Contact vendor for price and delivery information
- Check price and stock per customer request
- Interact with Outside Sales regarding quotes
- Send customer quotes
- Send direct ship PO to the vendors
- Check price and stock for Outside Sales
- Answer incoming sales department phone calls
- Expedite customer orders
- Provide tracking information
- Spec in product based on customer description
- Run pricing for BES items Requirements
- 2-4 years work experience in a related field.
- General knowledge of sales order processing
- Basic knowledge of standard inventory practices
- Ability to deal with customers on phones and in person The ability to multi-task and handle difficult situations professionally #BWC1
