Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, food prep, and ensuring proper food storage practices. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently while demonstrating excellent time management skills. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently. Experience in customer service roles that involve serving guests, upselling products, or cashiering enhances your suitability for this position. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is desirable. Prior work in retail or grocery stores involving cashiering or serving can provide valuable transferable skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods are essential for success.
