Job Description

Beyond the Meter Customer Service Representative Office Location Schertz Office 908 Curtiss Avenue Schertz, Texas 78154 What We Are Looking For GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Beyond the Meter Customer Service Representative to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department and our organization. As a Beyond the Meter Customer Service Representative, you will help with serving our heating/air conditioning, electrician and solar customers via phone, email and chat. Our CSRs are the first point of customer contact for general inquiries about pricing, products, services and scheduling. Our team builds and maintains effective business relationships by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty. Your Pay The minimum starting pay for this role is $19.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience. How You'll Help Deliver excellent customer experience with empathy when addressing problems and providing solutions Process job orders and service tickets while prioritizing calls according to their urgency Utilize effective and efficient communication with customers and other GVEC employees Follow up with customers on estimates for service, financing tasks and other items Receive and record information for all calls and provide technicians with vital information about jobs, obstacles and requirements Monitor job progress and ensure timely assistance Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned Experience/Skills You'll Need High proficiency using a computer and integrated phone system Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking abilities Active listener with exceptional communication skills Basic understanding of clerical level accounting processes Ability to work a 40-hour, flexible work week schedule Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently Excellent problem-solving skills - able to effectively troubleshoot minor issues independently Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Able to work independently with an impeccable sense of integrity Preferred Experience/Skills 1+ years of experience as a customer service representative or similar position Knowledge of HVAC and electrical products and services Experience with Service Titan Bilingual capabilities Our Purpose and Culture GVEC proudly provides Electric, Internet, HVAC, Solar and Battery Storage, and Electrician services in and around South-Central Texas.
