Job Description

VCA Callfield Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our exceptional team. We are a fast-paced, five doctor high-volume veterinary hospital known for our positive culture, strong teamwork, and commitment to outstanding patient and client care. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by warmly greeting clients and patients, answering phones, and escorting clients to exam rooms Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups and client outreach Clearly communicate service fees and process payments Recommend and assist clients with over-the-counter products and services Educate clients on general pet care and wellness topics (e.g., heartworm prevention, flea & tick control, housebreaking) Maintain accurate medical records, charts, and client communications Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Strong communication and active listening skills Compassion for both people and animals, with emotional awareness Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Ability to quickly learn and apply new information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including Saturdays and some holidays Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in an environment with potential exposure to allergens, animal-related hazards, and varying noise levels M-F availability with weekends off.
