$20+ per hour (based on experience) About Us We are a rapidly growing diesel‑only repair shop looking for a motivated, experienced Service Writer who can hit the ground running. If you have a diesel background or experience in diesel parts, you'll fit right in. Our shop moves fast, stays busy, and needs someone who can confidently manage customers, parts, and service flow. Position Overview The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll work directly with customers, technicians, and vendors to keep the shop running smoothly. Diesel knowledge is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Write service orders and communicate clearly with customers Coordinate with technicians to manage workflow and timelines Assist with parts ordering, returns, and inventory Provide accurate estimates and updates Maintain a clean, organized service desk Support both service and parts departments as needed Deliver a professional, positive customer experience Requirements Service Writer or diesel parts experience required Strong diesel knowledge (light‑, medium‑, or heavy‑duty) Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and able to adapt quickly Compensation & Benefits Starting wage: $20+ per hour, depending on experience PTO 401(k) with company match after 1 year Health benefits after 90 days Opportunity to grow with a fast‑expanding diesel shop How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed.
