Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales & Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will drive exceptional shopping experiences! In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face customers turn to for product insights, assistance with purchases, and personalized service. Whether guiding customers through product demos or managing transactions at the register, you'll play a vital part in our store's success and community connection. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive shopping experience Assist customers with product selection, offering knowledgeable advice and conducting product demonstrations when needed Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Customer Support :
Answer product, pricing, and availability questions in person, over the phone, and via email. Upsell products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to promote featured items Manage inventory by restocking shelves, organizing stockroom supplies, and ensuring products are available for customers Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store operations by supervising team members, helping with training, and ensuring smooth daily activities Requirements Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, but not neccesary. Familiarity with computer systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers in bilingual settings (English and other languages) a plus Experience supervising or leading teams is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are valued Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and merchandising displays Knowledge of store operations, including inventory management and product placement techniques Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a friendly demeanor to foster customer loyalty. $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
